Information We Collect

Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly, that we receive from third parties at your direction, and that we collect automatically when you use the Platform. The categories below describe the main types of information we process.

Contact, account, and profile information

When you register, use the Platform, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, timezone, account name, username, password (stored in hashed form), profile image or avatar reference, and other information you provide in your account settings.

You may also provide optional profile information, referral codes, affiliate identifiers, or similar details you choose to submit in onboarding, account settings, or support interactions.

If you sign in with Google, we receive information you authorize through Google’s OAuth consent screen, in accordance with Google’s privacy policy. We do not offer social login through Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, or other social networks.

If you enable two-factor authentication, we store authentication data necessary to secure your account, such as TOTP secrets and backup codes.

Billing and payment information

If you purchase a paid subscription, we collect billing contact information such as billing email, billing address, and phone number. Payment card numbers and other full payment credentials are processed by our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. We may store payment processor customer and subscription identifiers, plan details, trial status, billing interval, coupon information, and related subscription metadata needed to provide and administer paid services.

Broker connections and trading credentials

To route User-authorized trade instructions, you may connect one or more brokerage accounts to the Platform. Depending on the broker and integration method, we may collect and store:

OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiration data, scopes, and related broker authorization metadata;

Credentials, authentication material, or authorization artifacts required by a broker’s authentication method, where OAuth is not used;

Broker account identifiers, selected account mappings, paper/live mode settings, and connection status; and

Account balances, positions, orders, and other brokerage account data made available to us through broker APIs as necessary to provide the Platform.

For certain integrations, we may process brokerage login credentials only to the extent necessary to authenticate with the broker and obtain the authorization required for the connection. We retain broker tokens and related connection data while your connection remains active so the Platform can continue to operate. You are responsible for connecting only accounts you are authorized to use, as described in our Terms of Service. You should not share your TradersPost login credentials or brokerage credentials with third parties except as expressly permitted in our Terms.

Trading, automation, and integration data

Because TradersPost is an automated trading platform, we collect and process information related to your trading activity and configuration, including:

Strategies, strategy subscriptions, trade rules, symbols, sizing settings, risk settings, and other configuration you create or enable;

Webhook URLs, webhook passwords, IP allowlists, and related webhook settings;

Incoming webhook payloads, alert content, trading signals, and parsed signal data (such as symbol, action, quantity, and related order parameters);

Order routing requests, broker order identifiers, execution status, trade lifecycle records, and related logs;

HTTP request and response logs for broker API calls, which may include order details, account identifiers, technical error information, and operational telemetry and diagnostic metadata such as request identifiers, timestamps, latency, and HTTP status codes;

Webhook request logs, which may include source IP address, user agent, request method, URL, raw payload content, and similar diagnostic metadata;

Market data and reference data retrieved in connection with Platform features; and

Optional product analytics and performance data if you or your account administrator enable account-level analytics features.

This information may include details about your securities trading activity. TradersPost does not execute trades itself; brokers execute trades in your brokerage account based on instructions you authorize through the Platform.

Communications, support, and feedback

If you contact us, use in-app support tools, submit feedback, or participate in surveys or questionnaires, we collect the content of your communications and related metadata. Authorized TradersPost personnel and our customer support providers may access limited account, broker-connection, trading, and signal information reasonably necessary to investigate and resolve your support requests. We may use customer support platforms and product feedback tools to provide support and collect feedback. If you receive email from us, we may collect delivery information and, where enabled, engagement information such as opens or link clicks.

Affiliate and referral information

If you participate in our affiliate or referral program, we may collect affiliate identifiers, referral identifiers, payout information such as PayPal email, and related program data. We may share limited account or referral information with affiliate program administration providers.

Usage, device, and log information

When you visit the Site or use the Platform, we automatically collect information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, date and time of access, and similar technical data. We may also collect audit logs of certain account activity, such as sign-in events.

These providers may collect information about your use of the Platform over time and across sessions. We configure these tools for product analytics, support, and service improvement. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use these tools to sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
