No Entry Exit Order Not Planned
Cannot enter a new position for {{ ticker }} because the open {{ openPositionSide }} {{ openPositionSymbol }} position must be closed first, but no exit order was planned.This message appears when TradersPost would enter or flip a position only after closing an existing one, but no exit order was included in the trade plan. The open position must be closed before the new entry side is submitted.
A common cause is the Exit bid-ask spread filter: when the live spread is wider than your configured limit, the exit is not planned (no-exit-bid-ask-spread-filter-exceeded), so the follow-on entry is blocked as well. After the spread narrows, the filter may allow both planning steps again.
Other cases that leave exitOrder empty while the signal still implies closing the current side will surface the same message so we do not submit an entry without the required exit.
