This message means the exit order was not submitted because the bid-ask spread on the quote used for that exit exceeded the effective exit cap: the Exit bid-ask spread filter from your strategy or subscription and/or bidAskSpreadFilter from the webhook when signal rules allow it.
When TradersPost plans an exit, it compares the current spread to that cap. If the spread is wider, the exit is blocked to reduce risk of fills in illiquid or very wide-spread conditions.
This feature requires market data (quotes) from your broker. If the broker does not support quotes, the filter is not applied and you should not see this message for that reason.
For example, if the effective exit cap is $0.02 and the current spread is $0.05, the exit is rejected with this message.
Entry and exit filters are independent: tightening Entry bid-ask spread filter does not block exits based on that setting, and tightening Exit bid-ask spread filter does not block entries.
