Resize Increase Position

This message indicates that a resize action calculated a target quantity larger than your current open position, so TradersPost is increasing the position by the difference. Only the difference between the target and the current filled quantity is submitted.

Increasing a long position submits a buy; increasing a short position submits a sell. Existing resting orders are left in place, matching the behavior of action=add. Any take profit or stop loss configured for the new entry is attached only to the difference being added.

For example, if your open SPY position is 2 and you send a target of 4, TradersPost buys 2 to reach the target:
